Lent is next week!
I’ve been so busy with school that I haven’t had time to appreciate that Lent is next week. I promise, there will be posts about Lent. Just haven’t figured out what approach I will take.
During Lent, this blog will definitely have a different vibe: more solemn, more concise, less dense. It’ll all be directed towards spending less time in front of the screen and spending more time in front of God.
On the Fridays of Lent, this tumblr will go silent in honor of my bishop’s request (Bishop Jaime Soto, Sacramento Diocese) for all of us to get off social networking and stop texting on Fridays. It’ll be a challenge, but I think there are more fruits to be gained in this “electronic silence.” I encourage you to take the same steps and silence your e-self on Fridays.
More to come, I promise. First, much needed sleep.
